Auditions: Panache

South City Theatre will be holding auditions for “Panache,” written by Don Gordon and directed by Donna Stinson Williamson. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Rehearsals will start November 29 with the week of Christmas off. Show dates are January 28, 29, 30; February 3, 4, 5, 11, 12.

What happens when wealthy socialite, Kathleen Trafalgar drives from Long Island to Brooklyn in search of fry cook, Harry Baldwin? The DMV has mixed up their license plates! Harry got PANACHE and Kathleen got PANCAKE.

Looking for five strong actors.

Harry Baldwin: an artist who works as a fry cook. Early forties to mid fifties. Lives in Brooklyn.

Kathleen Trafakgar: wealthy, fashionalbe dresser. Lives in an upscale section of Long Island. Early to late forties.

Irwin Alcott: about 20. Clean cut, scholarly.

Laura young woman, early twenties.

Jumbo Dombroski: forties, friendly, husky and streetwise.
